Vandy Jane Doe Identified as Yadezia Jones
The team at DNA Investigative Solutions recently had the privilege of assisting the Metro Nashville Police Department and their Cold Case Unit in identifying Vandy Jane Doe and helping return her identity to her family. This work is a reminder that every person matters and every name deserves to be known.
We thank MNPD, Detective Matthew Filter, and Detective Andrew Davis for their continued commitment to seeking answers. We are also deeply grateful to the many distant relatives who uploaded and opted-in to GEDmatch, FamilyTreeDna, and DNA Justice, shared their family trees and histories, and opened their hearts and minds to help identify her.
